February 2019, Deflation of Samarinda Municipality was -0.18 Percent

Abstract

Samarinda Municipality in February 2018 had a deflation of -0.18 percent with a calendar year inflation rate of 0.42 percent and a year-on-year inflation rate of 2.99 percent. The highest increase in the price index occurred in the clothing group by 0.36 percent, followed by the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.21 percent, then the education, recreation and sports group by 0.19 percent, and the health group by 0 , 09 percent. The decline in the price index occurred in the foodstuffs group at -1.19 percent and was followed by the transportation, communication and financial services group at -0.23 percent. Meanwhile, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group did not change.
