Abstract

Inflation in Samarinda City is influenced by an increase in the price index in 6 expenditure groups and a decrease in the index in 1 expenditure group. The increase in the highest price index occurred in the foodstuffs group at 1.34 percent, followed by the health group at 0.34 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.09, then the clothing and transportation and communication groups respectively. -one by 0.4 percent, and finally the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.03 percent.
