Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) pada bulan Maret 2006, Kalimantan Timur mengalami inflasi sebesar 0,58 persen, atau terjadi kenaikan Indeks Harga Konsumen (IHK) dari 141,74 pada bulan Februari 2006 menjadi 142,55 pada bulan Maret 2006. Dengan angka inflasi tersebut, maka laju inflasi Kalimantan Timur tahun 2006 (Maret 2006 terhadap Desember 2005) mencapai 1,95 persen, sedangkan laju inflasi ‘year on year’(Maret 2006 terhadap Maret 2005) mencapai 15,11 persen.
