BPS-Statistics Samarinda Municipality Officially Launches the Results of the 2026 Village Fond of Statistics Program

Through the Village Fond of Statistics Program, villages and urban villages are no longer merely objects of development but strategic stakeholders capable of independently managing and utilizing data to support evidence-based development. In 2026, BPS-Statistics Samarinda Municipality implemented the program in three pilot urban villages: Bandara, Lempake, and Masjid.
On Tuesday (July 28, 2026), BPS-Statistics Samarinda Municipality, in collaboration with the three pilot urban villages, officially launched the results of the 2026 Village Fond of Statistics Program. The event was attended by the Regional Secretary of Samarinda Municipality, Mrs. Neneng Chamelia Shanti, as well as heads of districts and urban villages from across Samarinda Municipality.
The 2026 Village Fond of Statistics Program produced several key achievements, including:
Publication and Digitalization – Development of an integrated village statistics website featuring e-publications, statistical tables, and infographics, along with the publication of the 2026 Village Statistics Publication.
Targeted Health Interventions – Preparation of detailed statistical data in Bandara Urban Village to map the determinants of stunting at the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) and neighborhood (RT/RW) levels.
Strengthening the Local Economy – Development of agricultural statistical data in Lempake Urban Village and mapping of the creative economy value chain in Masjid Urban Village.
Implementation of One Data Indonesia – Establishment of a Statistics Management Team and a Village Statistics Corner to promote transparent, accountable, and integrated data governance.
Through the continued implementation of the Village Fond of Statistics Program, BPS-Statistics Samarinda Municipality and the Samarinda Municipality Government reaffirm their commitment to strengthening evidence-based policymaking through high-quality statistical data.
