Training for National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and Q1 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) Enumerators of 2026

January 20, 2026 | BPS Activities

BPS–Statistics Samarinda Municipality organized a hybrid training program for National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) enumerators for March 2026 and Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) enumerators for the First Quarter of 2026. The online training sessions were conducted from Monday to Wednesday, January 12–14, 2026. Offline training was subsequently held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, for Susenas enumerators and on Monday, January 19, 2026, for Seruti enumerators.

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the main statistical surveys used to produce essential data for government policy formulation. The March 2026 Susenas provides comprehensive information that serves as the primary basis for calculating the poverty line and various other key socioeconomic indicators. The data collected include demographic characteristics, population documentation, education, employment, as well as the quantity and value of household consumption expenditures.

Meanwhile, the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is integrated with Susenas to compile quarterly household economic indicators. Seruti aims to produce household economic statistics related to income value and patterns, consumption and non-consumption expenditures, investment activities, and household financial transactions. Through this training, enumerators are expected to carry out data collection activities accurately and professionally in accordance with established technical guidelines.
