Socialization of Proposed Sectoral Statistics and Metadata Activities

Samarinda, April 15, 2025 — Head of BPS-Statistics Samarinda Municipality, Supriyanto, S.ST., participated in the Socialization of Proposed Sectoral Statistics and Metadata Activities held at the Mangkupelas Room, Samarinda City Hall on Tuesday (15/4). The event was organized by the Samarinda City Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) to strengthen collaboration in managing regional data.

The activity featured presentations from two speakers: Khairil Anwar, S.ST., M.Si. from BPS-Statistics East Kalimantan Province, and Bambang Deni Ariyanto, S.Si. from Diskominfo Samarinda. Attendees included representatives from various regional apparatus organizations (OPD) in Samarinda, who serve as data producers.

The socialization focused on the importance of sectoral statistics and metadata input into the One Data Indonesia (SDI) Portal. It aims to ensure data governance across OPDs is integrated, accurate, timely, accountable, and shareable to support effective policy formulation and implementation.
